So it looks like even princes and princesses enjoy catching a good game every now and again.
The image, posted on the official Instagram account @princeandprincessofwales, featured a spirited caption: “Let’s go, @lionesses!”—highlighting the royal duo’s passionate support for England’s national team. Football runs in the family: Prince William, a longtime patron of The Football Association, naturally couldn’t miss this pivotal game. Alongside Princess Charlotte, he traveled to Basel, Switzerland, to witness the high-stakes match firsthand.
In the photo above, the father-daughter duo watches from their seats, visibly disappointed as Spain secures an early 1-0 lead.
